Jeremy Grech
Actor & Writer
Jeremy Grech is a local artist and tourist guide who has been passionately performing for almost a decade. His passion for storytelling and history has brought him closer to creating new concepts and is grateful to be doing what he loves. His most notable roles in theatre were in Sette (Teatru Malta), The Bards Farewell (ZiguZajg) and Ellie (Teatru Manoel). In the last couple of years, he created Theatourism which is the beautiful marriage of Theatre and Tourism. This venture has led him to create a memorable theatrical tour at Teatru Manoel, the Mosta Rotunda and other localities. Apart from being a theatre practitioner and guide, Jeremy is also a drama tutor with a passion for the italian form of art Commedia dell' Arte. Il-Pirata, as locally nicknamed, has trained professionally with Teatru Manoel under the tutorship of Denise Mulholland, the Drama Centre with several tutors and quite recently with theatre veteran Narcy Calamatta. His main aim as an artist is to make theatre and history more accessible to a wider audience and also pass on his enthusiasm to the audiences that come to his shows!
Charlotte Formosa
Actor
Charlotte Formosa is a Maltese performer who has worked with acclaimed directors and companies both locally and internationally. She recently portrayed Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen (FM Theatre Productions, Teatru Manoel) and Frenchy in Grease The Musical (Masquerade, Teatru Manoel). Her other notable stage credits include Sempreviva l-Musical (The Kettle Club), Ġiraffa Ħarbet minn Kastilja (Spazju Kreattiv), L-Għarusa (Teatru Malta), and Dik is-Siġra f'Nofs ta' Triq (Teatru Malta, Theatre Anon). Charlotte’s international experience includes contracts with The Experience Department (TED, UK) as a Vocalist/Presenter in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, and as a Stage Academy Tutor in Mallorca, Balearic Islands. On screen, she featured in the 8-part creative documentary series The Women of George Cross Island, portraying May Agius. In 2024, she was also a finalist in BRILLANTI Musicals.
Albert Garzia
Musician
Maltese composer Albert Garzia (b. 1977) started his musical training as an accordionist. He completed his B.A. (Hons.) (with First-Class Honours) in music composition at the University of Malta read concurrently with a Diploma in Sacred Music. He read for a Master’s degree in composition at the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester) which he completed with distinction.
Garzia’s music ranges from orchestral to chamber combinations and has been performed in a variety of settings. While being versatile in his approach, his objective is principally an effective musical communication which he strives to achieve by fusing folk elements into a contemporary music language.
Tina Rizzo
Actor
Tina Rizzo is a stage and screen actor, with experience in puppetry and physical theatre. She graduated from ArtsEd with a Masters in Acting and prior to her training in the UK, she trained locally at Masquerade Theatre Arts Company and The National Youth Theatre (TMYT). Tina is currently a member of the local theatre company WhatsTheirNames Theatre. In recent years, her career has seen her collaborate with notable companies such as; Shakespeare’s Globe, Riverside Studios, BBC and CBeebies, Temper Theatre, Frantic Assembly and puppeteering for Warrick Brownlow-Pike (CBeebies and Sesame Street).
